This course is designed to provide the opportunity for in-depth study of the nutritional aspects and implementation of dietary therapy in this common condition.
  • Facilitates the acquisition of knowledge and clinical application of the nutritional aspects of diabetes care
  • Diabetes centres have been developed in many NHS trusts in the UK and this has led to the appointment of Diabetes Specialist Dietitians
  • Lectures, guided reading, structured debate, simulation and group exercise support your learning
  • Input to the sessions will be provided by experts in the fields of biochemistry and diabetes, extended roles, nutritional and medical approaches, minority ethnic groups, nutritional support of long term complications, weight management, behavioural approaches and research methodologies
