Research Assistant or Research Fellow in Solar System Plasma Turbulence

£23,566 - £26,523 pa or £27,319 - £35,646 pa

Fixed Term Contract for 3 Years

This STFC funded project centres on the understanding of turbulence in solar system plasmas such as the solar wind by means of mathematical modelling, large scale simulation, and analysis of in-situ spacecraft data.

You will have, or will expect to attain, a PhD (or equivalent) in Physics or a relevant discipline. It should be noted that this post is designed as a career development post for someone who is newly qualified and wishes to gain experience in this field.
