The Midlands Physics Alliance will be offering a number of prestigious, fully-funded PhD prize studentships from October 2008. These will be awarded competitively to attract extremely able physics graduates from around the world into the Midlands region. Prize Studentships will offer fees and support for up to four years for students of any nationality to complete a PhD at one of the Midlands Physics Alliance institutions.

One of the project is "Multi-modal quasi-periodic pulsations in solar and stellar flares",
