Regional Airports

The University of Warwick is easily accessed from all major airports in the UK. There are two regional airports and the campus can also be reached by public transport from all the major London airports (see below).

  • BirminghamLink opens in a new window: To get to the University from Birmingham airport, either
    • take the train to Coventry (10 minutes) followed by a local bus (25 minutes) or taxi (15 minutes) to the University of Warwick
    • take a taxi from the airport to the University of Warwick which will be slightly quicker, but expensive

London Airports

Coventry can also be reached by train from all the London airports listed above. For more information see the National RailLink opens in a new window website.

Note that the University is not in the town of Warwick (which is about 8 miles away), and it is not the same as Coventry University (which is a different university, located in the centre of Coventry). This is important when telling taxi drivers where you want to be.

If you're coming by rail or bus (e.g., National ExpressLink opens in a new window or MegabusLink opens in a new window), you should come to Coventry.

Travel directions to the University of Warwick from Coventry and other directions locally can be found here.
