We welcomed guest speakers Oracle UK, Britvic PLC, and WMG's Cyber Security Centre to provide delegates with three key perspectives of cloud solutions for business.

Vikram Singla, Supply Chain Apps Leader, Oracle UK provided an overview of what does Cloud mean for the supply chain.

Noel Dickson, Director of Digital and New Technology shared Britvic's perspective of how Cloud technology works within their business, pros and cons.

Our cyber security expert Professor Carsten Maple talked about big data, the reality of security and risk management.

Vikram Singla, Oracle

Vikram Singla, Supply Chain Apps Leader, Oracle UK

 

Vikram Singla has over 20 years’ experience in the supply chain domain. He is currently responsible for the Product/Service Innovation and Supply Chain solutions across the UK and Ireland for Oracle.

He has helped organisations deploy software solutions to create customer centric supply chains delivering innovative products/services flawlessly and has worked on many supply chain projects with Fortune 500 companies throughout Europe. Vikram has an MBA from Warwick Business School and graduated from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) in Delhi.


Noel Dickson, Britvic

Noel worked in the FMCG arena for 25 years in a range of Commercial, Supply Chain and IT roles currently accountable for Group technology innovation with Britvic Plc.


Professor Carsten Maple

Professor Carsten Maple, Professor of Cyber Systems Engineering, WMG Cyber Security Centre


Professor Maple is the director of research in Cyber Security working with organisations in key sectors such as manufacturing, healthcare, financial services and the broader public sector to address the challenges presented by today's global cyber environment.

He works with various departments such as the Association of Chief Police Officers, the College of Policing, Interpol, the Equality and Human Rights Commission, the Department of Business Innovation and Skills, to name a few. In addition, he has advised executive and non-executive directors of public sector organisations and multibillion pound private organisations.
