Supply Chain Design to Support the Circular Economy

Can we inspire you to rethink and redesign the product lifecycle?

Material and product waste raises business and government concern over decreasing prices and short product life-spans that can’t be easily repaired or recycled.

When products fail, increasingly we have no choice but to buy a new and dispose the broken product.

The world is beginning to recognise that there is another way; that we need to protect and retain the value of products rather than dispose of them. An economy that has value retention at its core and from the outset designs products to be repaired, remanufactured and recycled.

Such thinking will drive a plethora of different business models that challenge current thinking. Lease, second-life, and collaborative consumption models will become the norm.
