Instruction for Presenters (PG Conference)

Thank you for choosing to be an important part of an exciting postgraduate student conference with us this year. Here is some information you may need for your preparation and participation.

Q1. Where am I presenting?

A1. Please come to the Central campus at the University of Warwick in Coventry. You will be allocated a room in the Ramphal Building on the Central campus, three minutes walk from the No. 12 bus stop operated by National Express Coventry.

 

Q2. When am I presenting?

A2. You can find out about our schedule on the PG Conference Programme (coming soon).

 

Q3. What can I use?

A3. Each room is equipped with a data projector and a computer with Microsoft Office 2007. If you wish to use your own computer for your presentation, please note that the University equipment is not fully compatible with Apple Macs. Should you require any other equipment, kindly contact M dot K dot Tran-Thi at warwick dot ac dot uk in advance and we shall do our best to accommodate you.

 

Q4. How much time have I got?

A4. Each session will last 30 minutes, inclusive of 10 minutes for questions and discussion.

 

Q5. Have I got to register?

A5. Yes, please do not forget to register online by Monday 13th June, since all attendees including presenters will need to provide us information for registration.

 

Q6. Will I get a certificate?

A6. Yes, we will issue a paper certificate to all presenters during the PG conference.

 

Q7. What about my accommodation?

A7. We cannot arrange accommodation for participants but we can give details and links to several accommodation websites to enable you to book directly. Click here to find out more on accommodation.

 

Q8. What about poster presentations?

A8. The poster session will be held during lunch time at the front hall of Ramphal Building on 29th June. You must design and bring your own VERTICAL A3 poster to the conference and you will be assigned a numbered display board when you register on-site in the morning.
