Call for Papers (for PG Conference, Wednesday 27th June 2012)


We invite postgraduate students to submit an abstract for either a paper (oral) or a poster presentation around one of the following themes:


Abstracts are for either paper (oral) or poster presentations. The deadline for receipt of abstract is Monday 30th April 2012. We ask you to submit your abstract as a Microsoft Word document using the online abstract submission page here:

Your abstract must include the following information:

  • The title
  • Name of the author(s)

 
The abstract should be no more than 250 words in length (excluding the above information).

Abstracts will be selected and approved by the conference committee. Accepted papers and posters will be notified by Wednesday 16th May 2012.

Single papers will be allocated up to 30 minutes for presentation (including up to 20 minutes presentation, and 10 minutes discussion), and the poster session will be held during lunchtime in F1.07 (Engineering Building) on Wednesday, 27 June.

Pre-Conference Workshops (Tuesday 26th June 2012)

A range of pre-conference workshops are offered to participants on the day before the conference, Tuesday 26th June 2012. The workshops will be up to 1.5 hours long.
