Financial Times online access

We are pleased to inform you that the University has a subscription to the Financial Times Online – www.ft.com. This will provide you with valuable access to news and analysis from the world’s leading business publication, and should give you an opportunity to enhance your academic studies.

Please follow the steps below to set up your access. If you have had previous access to the FT Online via our subscription, you will be able to update your details and re-activate your account. If you are a new user, please register first, using your warwick.ac.uk email address.

New users

Agree to Warwick IT Services data transfer

FT.com webpage should open

At the moment, new users are unable to login to the full FT.com app. We are in liaison with FT about this.

 For existing users, your old username/password should continue to work as before

Technical issues. Should you have further queries or concerns, please email library@warwick.ac.uk. You can also contact the financial times directly on customer.support@ft.com, who will be happy to assist you.


The Economist

We now have a university wide subscription to The Economist.com. You can access from https://www.economist.com/ and will need to re-register with your @warwick.ac.uk email address.

Bloomberg Terminal 

The Bloomberg Terminal is a computer software system which provides access to current and historical financial information on individual equities, stock market indices, fixed-income securities, currencies, commodities, and futures for both international and domestic markets. It also provides company profiles and financial statements, analysts' forecasts, news on worldwide financial markets, and audio and video interviews and presentations by key players in business and finance.

SAGE Research Methods

Do you need help with your research project? SAGE Research Methods is a library database for social science researchers. From planning your research project, to guidance on quantitative and qualitative research methods, we have a range of books, articles and video case studies to help you. You are also welcome to contact Jackie Hanes (economics librarian) for help with literature searching, finding research data and referencing/reference management.
