Festival of the Imagination

The Festival of the Imagination takes place on 16-17th October 2015 and is the centrepiece of the University’s 50th anniversary celebrations.

It will showcase the work done at Warwick through a diverse programme of events all focused around the central theme 'Imagining the Future'.

A panel debate entitled 'Universities Challenged: Where next for Higher Education?' will look at the challenges and opportunities facing the Higher Education Sector over the coming years, and features Head of the Department Professor Abhinay Muthoo and Siobhan Benita, Chief Policy and Strategy Officer in the Department.

The two day festival will include:

  • A free interactive Discovery Zone

  • talks and debates

  • The Future of Science

  • cookery Demonstrations

  • taster Classes

  • great food and drink served on our new plaza
