Warwick Economics Ranked Top

The Economics Department rankings in the Complete University Guide’s University League Tables for 2014 show Warwick in the number one position of the 78 departments evaluated.

The guide uses national data to rank departments on four key areas:

“This ranking underscores our commitment to high quality economics education and research,”
  • Student satisfaction - a measure of the view of students about teaching quality.
  • Entry standards - the average UCAS tariff score of new students.
  • Research assessment - a measure of the average quality of the research undertaken.
  • Graduate prospects - a measure of the employability of graduates.

Of particular note were the scores the department received on graduate prospects, which were the highest (tied with Cambridge) of all economics departments.
