Lecture series on Collusive Conduct: Bidding Rings and Cartels

A new lecture series is starting on Monday by Professor Claudio MezzettiLink opens in a new window (Warwick) and Professor Leslie MarxLink opens in a new window (Duke) entitled Foundations for Research in Collusive Conduct: Bidding Rings and Cartels aimed at interested faculty and research students.

The series will consist of six lectures, over two weeks and will cover topics such as: bidding rings and collusion at auctions, the economic analysis of collusive pricing strategies, lingering effects, monopolization conduct by cartels, interaction between collusion and mergers, detection of and defence against collusion and policies related to leniency and plea arrangements. Full details including lecture outlines are attached.

All are most welcome to attend, there is no need to register beforehand.
