Warwick Laksh Project - Big Quiz Night

image

The Warwick Laksh Project team are holding a quiz night, 6pm on 8 May at the Barn, Cryfield Farm House. The quiz will be a fun way for people to help raise funds to support Warwick students who volunteer in rural India.

Get involved

Tickets cost £10 per head which includes supper. Wine and other drinks will be available to purchase. Any team of between 3 to 8 people will be welcome – why not get together a department team or just come with friends. The more combinations the better! There will also be an auction and raffle on the night.

For further information and to purchase tickets email Helen at h.j.neal@warwick.ac.uk

Warwick Laksh Project

The Warwick Laksh project is a student volunteer teaching placement at the Laksh Foundation near Delhi, India.

The best bit for me was getting to know the community and making bonds with the children...It was amazing to see them grow in confidence and improve more and more." Laksh student volunteer.

The Project has developed over the last four years from a pilot project with three students helping out at one school to a programme which this year will see three groups of Warwick undergrads each volunteering for a month, with a clear focus on their role: to teach English and maths to the school children and to support the teachers through introducing innovative methods of teaching.
