Dr Dennis Novy appears on the BBC to discuss the Transatlantic Trade Investment Partnership (TTIP) with Victoria Derbyshire

Dennis appeared on the show on Tuesday night to discuss TTIP on the run up to the EU referendum

Dennis advised on the House of Lords enquiry into TTIP in 2013, which is a deal aimed at boosting economies of the EU and US by removing trade barriers. Concerns were addressed such as the implications that TTIP will have on the privitisation of the NHS and food standards.

When asked whether a deal will be agreed soon, Dennis commented that:

"They have been negotiating since 2013, and nothing will happen anytime soon because of the presidential election cycle. They typically take 8 years, so maybe 2020"
