CAGE Essay Competition

The CAGE Essay Competition Spring 2019 is now CLOSED

Winners will be notified in due course.

The ESRC Centre for Competitive Advantage in the Global Economy (CAGE) is an integral part of Warwick's Department of Economics. CAGE publishes around 40 to 50 working papers per year. Warwick Economics Undergraduate and MSc students are invited to write an essay succinctly summarising (max 1,500 words) one of the CAGE working papers published during 2017 and 2018:

The readership for the essay will be policy-makers and the general public interested in economic issues.

Prizes

The winner of the CAGE Essay Competition Spring 2019 receives an award and wins £500, with two runners-up each receiving £250.

The winning essay will be published both in the CAGE Advantage Magazine and on the CAGE website. Runners up on website.

Deadline
The deadline for submitting essays is 31 January 2019.
