LGD - Call for Papers

The Law, Social Justice and Global Development Journal welcomes submissions for peer-reviewed and non-refereed articles for publication in our upcoming issues

Contributions should reflect the journal's general areas of inquiry, particularly our emphasis on the socio-legal aspects of globalisation, such as human rights, social justice, social action and governance. The journal aims specifically to engage with the dynamic between local, national, regional and global spheres of social action.

Papers intended for peer-review should be between 5,000 - 8,000 words in length, and should reflect high scholarly content. Please note that each paper will be reviewed by at least two annonymous referees in the field of the subject matter addressed in the paper. The review process normally takes six to eight weeks.

Submissions of other articles are also welcome. These should take the form of commentaries, reports on contemporary developments and/or recently-held conferences and events, case summaries and analyses and book reviews.

The LGD especially welcomes contributions from scholars and practitioners in developing countries and transitional economies. We also encourage readers to respond to articles or papers published under our Open Forums.

Contributors are encouraged to refer to our section of Journal Scope and Submission Standards for more information on our areas of interest and citation and article format details.

Articles may be sent by post, preferably with a digital copy on disk (in Word format), to the address below, or via email to: lgd@warwick.ac.uk.

From time to time, we will issue Calls for Papers for our Special Issues. Please refer to the relevant sections for guidelines on submissions.
