I joined the Warwick Law School in 2004 after initially qualifying as a barrister and then a number of years teaching, mainly in EU law, and pursuing doctoral research on Partnership Rights in EC migration law at Oxford University. I was a lecturer in Law first at Somerville College then at Queen's College from 1997-2004 and was awarded DPhil (PhD) for my thesis entitled Modernising Partnership Rights in EU Family Reunification Law in 2003.
I have taught Constitutional and Administrative law and EU law since I arrived at Warwick, and have started a new module on Legal Issues of Brexit for January 2017. I was Senior Tutor/Director of Student Support and Wellbeing for a number of years in the Law School, and in January 2017 was appointed to a new role on the Dean of Student's office as Faculty Senior Tutor for the Science Faculty.
