James Morauta

My current research is mainly in ethics and the philosophy of action, but I also dabble in bits of legal and political philosophy, epistemology, and philosophy of mind, and I'm interested in an amateur onlooker-ish kind of way in lots of things. My doctoral thesis (Oxford, 2007) was on intentions: on what they are, and on some puzzles about the norms that apply to them.

Before coming to Warwick I was a Junior Research Fellow at University College, Oxford. I did my graduate work in philosophy (B.Phil. and D.Phil.) at Oxford, and my undergraduate work in philosophy (B.A.) and law (LL.B.) at the Australian National University.
