Welcome to PPL at Warwick

patrick

We hope you are feeling excited about joining the PPL Programme at Warwick soon. We are committed to supporting you on this new exciting chapter and are already looking forward to seeing you graduate in three or four years’ time.

We know that you will have many questions about how you can best prepare for your time with us and we want to make sure you arrive ready to make your study choices and start your challenging work. You can find more information about the course below.

We have prepared a list of PPL preparatory readings. Please be aware that we do not have any prior expectations of you reading these, we just know you may be excited about starting your PPL journey. You can check the module pages below to find the reading lists, but do be aware there may be some changes and others may not be accessible until you have enrolled and set up your IT account.

You will find other information on Welcome Week and the practical things you need to do before starting university on our Warwick Welcome pages.

Finally, keep in touch. If you have any questions just let us know by emailing us at ppl at warwick dot ac dot uk.

For the Law component of your First Year, you can choose to take either Criminal Law or Tort Law.

These videos will give you more information on the differences between the modules, some academic advice, and student perspectives on the subjects.

If you are still not sure which one you would like to take, don't worry! You can attend the lectures for both modules at the start of term to help you decide.

Our current PPL students will also be able to share their experiences when you meet them at the beginning of the term.
