We have been informed by the Estates Office that they will be conducting testing of circuits within WBS over the next few weeks. In particular they will need to test circuits related to the provision of IT services. To minimise disruption they have agreed to do this on Dec 23rd (the final working day before Christmas).

The Estates Office have yet to finalise the exact timings but all IT systems within WBS will experience disruption on December 23rd. The Estates work typically starts early such that the bulk of the disruption is complete for the start of the working day. There is a high probability of further disruption throughout the day as individual network 'node' rooms are tested. We will provide more details as they become available.
