Juliane Schwarz
Dr Juliane Schwarz is a Research Fellow in the Research Unit for Innovation Knowledge and Organizational Networks (IKON) at Warwick Business School. Her main role is to manage and conduct research for the ESRC funded project on Knowledge-sharing Networks and Communities of Practice. Juliane was awarded her PhD at Lancaster University where she was trained as a social scientist. Her research interests are centred on the communities of practice approach, ranging from good practices in developing CoPs and make them relevant for business performance to the construction of identities, knowledge and meaning through being part of a community. Prior to working at Warwick Business School, she managed various research projects at UCAS and the University of Central England related to good practices in higher education and stakeholder satisfaction.
