Warwick Skills Certificate Module: Advanced Learning Skills

There is still time to register for the Warwick Skills Certificate module ‘Advanced Learning Skills.’ A 10-credit module: it will provide you with an advanced tool-kit to enable you to make a smooth transition into study at an advanced level giving you the confidence, and competence you need to thrive in an academic setting

During the course you will:

  • gain a greater understanding about how your mind works - and what enables it to work better
  • learn how to use concept maps and other techniques for working with information
  • understand and use your capacity to remember things
  • learn how to use feedback to improve performance
  • demonstrate what you know - how to prove yourself as a member of the academic community

Background needed or prerequisites

There are no prerequisites for this module. All materials will be provided, but you might like to bring your own plain paper pad and coloured pens/pencils for the concept mapping
