Computational Chemistry Goes Global
Thursday 24th January 2008, 16:15-17:15, Physics Lecture Theatre
Professor Peter Coveney (University College London) will deliver this lecture on the progress that has been made toward seamless access to computational recources regardless of their global geographical location -- so-called "grid computing".
The lecture will explore the step jump in the scale and ambition of computational chemistry that grid computing affords and illustrate the possibilities by surveying a range of recent and current studies drawn from materials chemistry, chemical biology and biomedicine
