An Introduction to the Ethical Approvals Required for Studies Involving Human Participants

This workshop is aimed at students (and their supervisors) considering conducting research in healthcare who want to know more about the latest requirements.

Run by Krysia Saul from the Warwick Medical School, the session will highlight the issues that need to be considered when preparing for and conducting studies involving human participants. It will focus on studies that involve the NHS as well as those that need to submitted to the Biomedical Research Ethics Committee for ethical approval.
