More Information

The Diploma in Applied Management is all about ‘hands-on management development’ and has been designed to provide an understanding of pragmatic managerial and commercial models and theories alongside the tools needed to apply these to real-life issues and challenges in your workplace. You will also develop entrepreneurial approaches to solving your real business-critical problems. In essence, it’'s all about improving your performance quickly and noticeably for the benefit of both you and your organisation.

The Diploma is particularly appropriate for middle to senior managers with a minimum of three years management experience or new and aspiring managers with a strong academic background; however, there are no formal academic entry requirements.

The Diploma is delivered in a highly interactive and practical setting and is a four-way partnership between you, your organisation, your fellow participants, and us. To learn effectively, you must apply the new concepts in live situations in your workplace and your line manager is crucial in helping you to identify ways of achieving this to ensure that you extract maximum value in terms of both individual and corporate objectives.

A new course structure was implemented in autumn 2010, which opens up the possibility of a fast-track to the prestigious Warwick MBA by enabling participants to apply for exemption from three of its core modules, and the feedback has been overwhelmingly positive, from both participants and their organisations alike.

If you'’re just after a qualification, then the Diploma isn’'t for you. However, if you want to make a real difference to your organisation and your career, then do come along on Thursday 15 September to find out more, experience some of the content and speak to the Diploma team regarding any specific questions that you have.
