Summary: Seminar, where Gregor Henderson will present on Why 'wellbeing' matters and why it will have an increasing relevance to healthcare policy and its delivery.

Gregor Henderson traces the development and influence of the growing science and practice of 'wellbeing' in public health policy and why there is a growing movement of support in policy and practice circles for an emphasis on wellbeing as a complement to treating and supporting illness.

Biography

Gregor works as an adviser and consultant to a number of UK and overseas Government Departments, public, NGO and private sector organisations on mental health and wellbeing. He is currently working with the National Mental Health Development Unit in England leading a programme of work on wellbeing and population mental health in support of national mental health policy and its implementation.
