Summary: Dr Jordi Quoidbach from Harvard University speaks about how projections in time can impact the way we savour our present experiences.

Jordi Quoidbach got his Ph.D. in 2010 form University of Liège in Belgium. He is currently a postdoctoral researcher in Psychology at Harvard University. His primary research interest lies in understanding how the human capacity to travel through time to relive the past and to envision the future shapes our happiness in the present. Specifically, his recent research examines how projections in time can impact the way people savour their present experiences. In other words, how does your enjoyment of tonight’s dinner depend on yesterday’s meal and the food you plan to eat tomorrow?
