Innovative Schools Research Seminar led by Dr. Leena Krokfors, Professor of Teacher Education at University of Helsinki and Director of Centre for Research on Teaching (CRT)

The goal of InnoSchool is to develop the Future School Concept: a set of research-based good practices, processes, models and designs, and
recommendations for their successful combinations in the Future School.

InnoSchool consists of four co-projects:

  • InnoArch - Places and Spaces for Learning
  • InnoEdu - Education with Innovation
  • InnoPlay - Innovative Playful Learning Environments
  • InnoServe - Service Innovations for the Future School

These co-projects conduct research and developmental work on schools from their different scientific perspectives: architecture and urban planning; playful
learning environments; education and the teaching–studying–learning process; and process and innovation management.
