Professor Guido Samarani from the University of Venice, Ca’ Foscari will talk on: 'The Historical Relationship between Italy and China before and during the Second World War.'

Guido Samarani is Professor of Chinese History at the University of Venice – Ca’ Foscari and Director of the Department of Far Asian Studies. His most recent books include La Cina del Novecento. Dalla fine dell'Impero ad oggi (Turin, 2004) and La Cina e la storia. Dal tardo impero ad oggi (with Laura De Giorgi) (Carocci, 2005).
