Learning at Work Day

Thursday 22 May, 12pm - 2pm and 4pm - 6pm, Arts Centre landing (next to the National Grid Room)

As part of the national Adult Learners' Week, the Centre for Lifelong Learning is holding an informal event where staff will be able to talk to various representatives about training and development opportunities at Warwick. This event is a good chance for all University employees to find out more about the wide range of study, development and training options on offer to them.

During the two drop-in sessions there will be staff from the Centre, Warwick Learning Account, the Language Centre, LDC (Learning Development Centre) and Warwick Volunteers available to talk about courses, training and development; including work-shadowing or mentoring other colleagues, volunteering to help in the local community or working to improve a skill.

There will also be a number of informal sessions on particular topics in the National Grid room (lunch and refreshments provided):

  • 12.00 - Centre for Lifelong Learning & Warwick Learning Account
  • 12.30 - Language Centre
  • 13.00 - Learning & Development Centre
  • 13.30 - Warwick Volunteers
