Professor Lord Robert Skidelsky will be returning to the University to give a special lecture on Tuesday 1 February 2011 at 6pm.

Lord Skidelsky is Emeritus Professor of Political Economy at Warwick (where he taught between 1978 and 2006) and author of the award-winning multi-volume life of economist John Maynard Keynes.

His lecture, entitled "How Much is Enough? The Economics of the Good Life", will contribute to the growing debate on the value of wealth prompted by the economic downturn. Lord Skidelsky will argue that wealth is not an end in itself but a means to the achievement and maintenance of a 'good life' and that our economy should be organised to reflect this fact.

Places at Lord Skidelsky's lecture are limited, so anyone interested in attending is strongly advised to book their place early by registering online. All registrants will receive a confirmation email with further details in January.
