Malaysian Film Day

Join the Malaysian Society in the Arts Centre for an afternoon showcasing the best in Malaysian cinema on Saturday 23 June.

The Malaysian Society at Warwick have joined forces with the Arts Centre to form the Malaysian Film Showcase - a collaborative project which aims to introduce Malaysian cinema to people in the West Midlands.

Recent years have seen the resurgence of Malaysian cinema with international recognition from notable film festivals like the Rotterdam Film Festival and Berlin Film Festival. Although highly acclaimed in other parts of Europe, Malaysian cinema is still largely unknown in the UK. The project aims to engage audiences across the West Midlands with Malaysian cinema, through events such as this specially programmed film day in June.

The programme for the day is as follows:

Mukhsin
