Marie Curie Initial Training Networks scheme (ITN)

Monday 12 May, 1 - 2pm, MOAC Seminar Room, Coventry House

Are you interested in obtaining funding to recruit and host early career researchers for up to three years? Are you looking to participate in networks of researchers from universities and industry in other EU Member States?

If so, you may be interested in applying for funding for an FP7 Marie Curie Initial Training Network. Note: after the current 2008 call, there will not be another call for this scheme until 2010.

To find out how to maximise your chances of success, come to this lunch-time seminar where you will hear:
  • Dr Chris Veal from RSS will give an outline of the scheme;
  • Professor Colin Robinson – coordinator of a successful application to the ITN scheme from Warwick in 2007– sharing his tips for making a successful application;
  • Dr Mike Khan – a Warwick academic on the scheme’s Evaluation Panel – providing insights into what the evaluators are really looking for;
  • Dr Mahmut Tor – a Warwick academic who has peer reviewed Marie Curie applications
A sandwich lunch will be available. Please RSVP to Katherine Branch on K.Branch@warwick.ac.uk or x 50202 by Thursday 8 May. For more information see http://www2.warwick.ac.uk/services/rss/funding/external/fp7/marie_curie/itn/
