Summary: Discussion with leading thinkers on happiness economics

CAGE (Centre for Competitive Advantage in the Global Economy) has brought together three of the leading thinkers in the field of Happiness Economics - Richard Easterlin, Professor of Economics at the University of Southern California, Warwick's Andrew Oswald and Andrew Clark, CNRS Research Professor at the Paris School of Economics.

The current discussion by policy makers about the need to measure human well-being rather than gross domestic product (GDP) can be traced back to the work of these three thinkers. As such, all policy makers and citizens, economists, sociologists and political scientists should be interested in this debate.

To register for the event please visit CAGE's Registration page.

There is no charge for the event, but places are limited.

There will be a drinks reception following the lecture, at 7pm in the Mead Gallery.
