At this seminar on Tuesday 27 September 2011 MRC Technology will present its Centre for Therapeutics Discovery, a collaborative centre for drug discovery and development of novel small molecule and antibody therapeutics from academia.

The Centre was established in 2005 to support translation of MRC-funded projects, but was recently relaunched to be open to scientists across the UK. The presentation will cover the drug discovery resources and facilities available for high-throughput screening, medicinal chemistry and antibody humanisation, the application process for those with suitable projects, and case studies from successful previous projects.

Scientists from the centre will be on hand over a networking lunch and later in 1:1 sessions to discuss any novel targets or potential projects arising from the research at Warwick.
