Andrew Davies: A Very Peculiar Practice

Award-winning screenwriter Andrew Davies (Pride and Prejudice, Bridget Jones' Diary, Bleak House) will speak about his Bafta-winning TV series, "A Very Peculiar Practice" (1986), inspired by his time at Warwick University.

There will be screenings of clips from this wicked satire of well-meaning doctors, Thatcherism, radical politics and the 'Sick University'.

There will be a drinks reception afterwards at 7.15 in the Arts Centre National Grid Room.
