WBS Faculty member, Martin Cave, Director, Centre for Management Under Regulation will present on "Separation of Telecoms Networks" followed by time for Q & A.

Regulators in many EU countries and elsewhere are circling incumbent fixed operators with a view to imposing some kind of separation on them. The European Commission has specifically proposed a functional separation remedy from 2010. At least one European operator is contemplating separating itself. The aim of the teleconference is to identify the roots of these separatist movements and to project the likely consequences.
