String Orchestra Spring Concert

On Thursday 8 March at 7.30pm, the University of Warwick String Orchestra presents its end of term concert, at Earlsdon Methodist Church on Earlsdon Avenue South.

Conducted by the Coull Quartet’s Roger Coull, the orchestra will be playing a varied range of pieces including Vivaldi's 'Double Cello Concerto' Grieg's 'Holberg Suite', and the UK premier of Bevan's 'To Morning', in what promises to be an engaging and enjoyable performance.

Now in its 3rd year, the String Orchestra is a medium sized ensemble whose repertoire includes music from the early classical period right up to the present day.

With the support and involvement of Roger Coull, the group has grown from strength to strength, staging at least 1 concert per term.

Ticket are priced at £5 (£4 NUS and other concessions).
