Birmingham Science City is hosting an event named "Technology in Action" from 5pm to 7pm on Tuesday 14 September 2010 at the MacDonald Burlington Hotel in Birmingham. This event is part of this year's British Science Festival.

The event will provide insight into how collaborations between research and development institutions and business can benefit all partners involved.

The event will feature talks from three key speakers:

  • David Burden, Managing Director of Daden Ltd.
  • Neil Butcher, Project leader of the CABELD consortium, and associate from ARUP.
  • Professor James Wolffsohn, Deputy Executive Dean for the School of Life and Health Sciences at Aston University.
