Gabrielle Emonds-Baker has an MA in Translation Studies and an MBA and is an accredited member of the Association of Proposal Managers. At present she is Senior Proposal Manager at Ericsson, the worlds largest telecommunications equipment supplier. She also translates Proposal Management related literature and Websites. Following her MA dissertation The Language of Tenders she is currently researching how the language of proposals influences the buying decision of customers and how translation theory can help to improve the quality of tender responses.
