Verdi's Macbeth - University of Warwick Symphony Orchestra and Chorus

Based on William Shakespeare's play of the same name, Macbeth is an opera in four acts by Guiseppe Verdi to a libretto by Francesco Maria Piave. The University of Warwick Symphony Orchestra and Chorus are thrilled to be performing this opera, in Italian, as part of the Music Centre's Shakespeare themed spring term.


A glittering international cast of opera singers are headed up by the outstanding Icelandic Baritone singer Olafur Sigurdarson in the title role. Conducted by Paul McGrath.
