Warwick International Development Summit is one of the largest student-led development summits taking place in the UK. We aim to encourage critical debate among the leading political actors of today and our students to raise awareness of development issues and questions such as
- What is the role of corporate social responsibility in development?
- Are former colonial powers still responsible for the countries they colonised?
- Is fair trade really the way forward to sustainable development?
- How can we find a balance between economic growth and environmental protection for developing countries?
