Window on Warwick: Why do I need to know about VAT?

Thursday 12 July, 12:30-13:30. CMR1.1, University House

The Working at Warwick lunches programme has been a valued part of current awareness and staff development provision at the University for some time. This year, the programme is being re-launched as the Window on Warwick programme. Window on Warwick will present lunchtime sessions on a variety of topics, which offer staff at the University the opportunity to Celebrate, Debate and Disseminate ideas and practice.

This session is aimed at project staff, managers and others with a non financial background who carry out research or consultancy work.

The session will cover the basics of why VAT is relevant to your work, when and why you should ask advice from the Tax Team, the implications of getting things wrong and some of the benefits that are available for the University.

To book on this session, please email Helen Ireland in CAPD H.A.Ireland@warwick.ac.uk

Feel free to bring your own lunch. Tea, coffee & morning goods will be provided.
