The Mindfulness session at the Network Day was incredibly popular - with a long waiting list! To give more people the chance to attend, we're re-running as a Network365 session on Wednesday 25 May, 12.45-1.30.

Session details

Mindfulness is an increasingly popular area of practical application and academic research. The benefits of regular practice are well documented and include improved clarity, resilience, recovery, creativity, problem-solving and communication amongst many others. As well as practical exercises, the session will consider the theoretical and empirical landscape, and explore ways we can fit mindfulness into our everyday lives.

Where: WT0.05, Westwood Teaching Centre, Westwood campus

Hot drinks and biscuits will be provided.

Did you know?

The Centre for Lifelong Learning offers a 10 week accredited short course on Mindfulness for Everyday Living.

There's also a 10 week non-accredited Cultivating Mindfulness course for those who have previously attended a mindfulness course and/or have experience of practicing mindfulness.
