Registrar's Meeting Summer 2012

Next Meeting: Developing the Campus as a Community

Wednesday 20 June 2012
Copper Rooms 2, First Floor, Students' Union, 3-4pm
Open to all non-academic staff. Registration essential.
Registration is now closed.

This term's meeting will involve a number of small group discussions, where participants will be encouraged to input their thoughts and ideas on a specific topic under the theme 'Developing the campus as a community'.

Ken and his Senior Officer team will each facilitate a discussion group and key ideas will be fed back to the wider group at the end of the hour.

Places are limited to 120 and registration is essential. If the meeting is oversubscribed, a reserve list will be compiled and a second event run later in the summer.

Groups of between 10-12 will each discuss a particular aspect of the campus community and you will be asked to select a preferred topic when you register. There are five topics to choose from:

1. General campus provision
2. Food provision
3. Families on campus
4. Campus at the weekends
5. Attracting the local community onto campus

What will happen next?

It is intended that ideas and suggestions from the meeting will form the first stage of a campus-wide consultation on the Enhancing the Campus Community, which will be discussed by Senior Officers in the autumn and outcomes fed back at the next Registrar’s Meeting.
