Staff Erasmus scheme 2013/14: Your chance to train abroad

Erasmus logoStaff have until Friday 1 November 2013 to express an interest in taking part in the Erasmus staff mobility scheme during the 2013/2014 academic year.

The scheme is part of the European Commission's mobility programme, designed to encourage higher education student and staff mobility and university links within the EU.

Teaching visits

Academic staff can apply for teaching exchanges at a partner university, which can last up to a maximum of five days with a minimum of five hours teaching.

Training visits

Training places can be applied for by any member of staff, to enable them to visit a European institution for a minimum of five days. These visits are personal development opportunities. Travel and subsistence grants are available, with a maximum travel allowance of €500 available for each visit.
