We have been made aware of carriageway repairs affecting (in red on the map below):

• Charter Avenue from Mitchell Avenue to Sir Henry Parkes Road, and
• Sir Henry Parkes Road from Charter Avenue to the A45

The work is scheduled to start on 16 August 2013 and should take three days to complete. The repairs will take place between 7:30 am and 3.30 pm. The dates may vary sighly depending on the weather.

To carry out the work safely this section of the road will be closed.

Access will be restricted to residents, business and essential users only (e.g. emergency vehicles, refuse collection). There will be a diversion route in place which will be clearly signposted. Pedestrian access will not be affected.

If you do have any problems with access, there will be Traffic Management Operatives on site who will be more than happy to assist you. Residents will not be able to park outside their property during the work.
