Graduate training programme opens

Learn more about Ambitious Futures, our graduate training programme, and how you can get involved in hosting a placement or applying to take part.

About the scheme

Ambitious Futures is the sector leading Higher Education leadership scheme, offering a fast-track opportunity into a career in HE leadership, and is currently shortlisted for a Times Higher Education award.

What’s involved?

Successful trainees will take part in three, six month placements, with the first and third placements taking place at Warwick and the second placement at a partner institution.

Trainees have the opportunity to experience the breadth as well as depth of Higher Education. Opportunities include Internationalisation, HR, Finance, Widening Participation, Governance, Data Analysis, Student Services, Estates and many others. We are looking for trainees who are passionate about working in HE, interested to find out about the ins and outs of how a university is run behind the scenes and to contribute to the development of the HE sector.

Rachel Sandby-Thomas, Registrar, commented:

The Ambitious Futures programme is a vital part of our professional services. Not only does it give talented graduates the opportunity to embark on an extremely fulfilling career, it also provides our sector with inspirational leaders who will continue to deliver world-class higher education in an increasingly competitive market.”
