Election to represent the Assembly on the Senate

Nominations are invited for three members of the Assembly to serve as representatives of the Assembly on the Senate for a three year period from 1 September 2013 to 31 August 2016. The vacancies have occurred due to the expiry of the terms of appointments for Professor C Dowson, Dr C Jenainati and Dr D Roper.

The Assembly is constituted of a significant number of academic, research and administrative staff of the University.

Only two of the members of the Assembly appointed to Senate may be of professorial status. As none of the continuing representatives of the Assembly serving on the Senate are of professorial status, two of the three new appointees can be Professors of the University.
