Chinese HR Executives to Present to Warwick Students

The British Council China is organising for high-level HR executives from major employers in China to come to Warwick on Tuesday 11 November, 6-8.30pm, to give an overview of the Chinese job market, to talk about various aspects of recruitment from the employer’s side and to share job opportunities with Warwick students.

This is the first time the British Council China has based one of their UK events at Warwick and is evidence of our growing profile with international employers and organisations. The HR Executives speaking at the event include the Associate Vice President of Communications for MasterCard China; Head of HR for Weibo, one of the most popular microblogging websites in China; and HR Director for Country Garden Holdings, a major investment holdings company listed on the Hong Kong stock exchange.

After the HR Executives have spoken, students will have the chance to interact with the speakers as well as inquire about any possible vacancies that they have available. This will not only provide an excellent opportunity for students to understand and discuss the requirements of China’s domestic employment market, but will also provide a range of employment opportunities.

The deadline for registration is 2nd November 2014. Find more event details and to sign up to attend.

Places for students are available on a first-come, first-served basis and the number of places are limited, so please book early. For any queries or information on other career events please see the Careers and Skills website.
